Kakobuy spreadsheet links should help you return to a specific item, not simply another page with a similar picture. Before adding something to your shortlist, check the Item ID and the option you intend to choose. Keeping those details together makes later comparisons much easier.

A Kakobuy link is useful only when it still identifies the option you mean. When you compare several Kakobuy links, save the visible Item ID and your selected size or colour beside each URL. A copied address by itself cannot tell you which option you intended to assess.

For a Kakobuy link converter or link converter Kakobuy result, compare the destination with the original record before relying on it. Match the Item ID, selected option and visible details. If they do not match, treat the destination as a different item and repeat the assessment.

Links can become confusing when you move between a category, a search result and an individual item. Each serves a different purpose. A category helps you browse; a search result reflects a query; an item record is where you need to resolve the particular choice.

A working link only proves that a page opened. To validate a find you also need the Item ID and the exact option (colour, size, included pieces) to still match what you saved. Keep the link, the ID and the chosen option together, and re-read the option every time you return.

Illustrative example (not a real order). You save a link with a size and a colour, then reopen it months later. The page loads, but the option shown has reverted to a default. Re-reading the option, not simply seeing the page, is what confirms you are looking at the same choice.

Next action: if a link will not open, treat a loading problem separately from a removed item, and check the QC photo limits before packing. Keep the option note beside the guide stages.

Sources and limits

This is this guide's advice for validating a saved link. It is not a description of an official platform feature and not evidence from a real order. It is based on Kakobuy help information (7 September 2026). Policies may change; check the linked help page for current terms.

  • Visible checks (appearance, model, style, size) are described as separate from hidden questions such as function, authenticity and fit — Kakobuy help, question 89. A link and a photo cannot confirm hidden fit or function, and the page does not promise every requested photo or measurement.

Re-open the current item and its option before relying on any saved record.

Begin with the item, then settle its options

Open one item at a time and note its Item ID. Review the available option images and size information before recording it as a final choice. Do not assume the first photograph represents every selectable version.

Where a colour or style is shown with an image, look at the image itself. Where a size is expressed as text, compare that label with the measurements. Colour selection and size selection answer different questions and should not be substituted for each other.

A reliable saved entry needs more than a URL

Keep a compact note containing the Item ID, your intended size or option, and the question you still need to answer. For example, you might record that a garment length needs comparison with your current clothing. This turns a saved link into a decision you can resume.

Avoid saving a list of unidentified images. Once several options look alike, it becomes easy to attach a price or measurement to the wrong entry.

The Kakobuy spreadsheet guide explains how this fits into the wider order process. For choosing between several entries, use the shortlist checklist.

When an item no longer opens

A page that fails to load and an item that is no longer available are different situations. Check the message shown before taking action. If the problem appears temporary, return later rather than immediately assuming the record has been removed.

If the item is unavailable, search again using its visible characteristics. Treat any replacement as a new choice: review its own photos, size information and options. Do not transfer your conclusions from the old entry simply because the main picture looks familiar.

A useful photograph belongs to a particular item and context. Product photos show how an item is presented. Warehouse photos show the item visible at a later stage. Mixing the two can lead you to believe that an image answers a question it was never meant to answer.

The QC photos guide explains which details a warehouse image can help you inspect. Keep that image associated with the relevant Item ID and selected option rather than attaching it to every similar-looking result.

Keep navigation simple

Use category pages when you want alternatives, the item record when you want details, and the guide when you need help with the next decision. Repeatedly opening unrelated pages usually adds more choices without resolving the current one.

If you are concerned about what a working link does and does not tell you, read Is a Kakobuy spreadsheet safe to use?. A functioning page is useful, but it is not an assessment of fit, delivery or every aspect of the transaction.

Browse products

A single product sheet can keep one selection clear; when combining several saved sheets, check whether repeated images actually refer to duplicate products.

Returning to older material requires a different check. Use the 2025 reference guide to inspect an old entry and the archive recovery guide when the original reference is incomplete.

Common questions

Do not assume it does. Read the current item information and selected option before making a decision.

Can I keep only the main photograph?

Keep the Item ID as well. A main photograph alone may not distinguish your choice from a similar entry.

What if the option I wanted has disappeared?

Reassess the remaining choices. A different colour, size or included set should be treated as a different decision, not an automatic replacement.
